Some of our unsolicited referrals below:

"Professional and meticulous throughout the house painting job. They worked with us in obtaining a house color that we wanted and ensured that it met our expectations. Our house has three levels, a screened porch along with landscaping that created many challenges for them. They just got the job done and always with pleasantries. They arrived on time each day and worked until weather conditions did not permit or until they reached a reasonable stopping place. They were a joy to work with."    - Kay M.
"It is refreshing to work with true professionals. We are grateful to the careful planning that went into the work. Thank you!"    - Sabine P.
"I have been meaning to call you all week and I just want to thank you so much for doing such a great job on the house.  As I've gone through and washed windows I've seen all the detail and how good it is and I just really, really appreciate it"     - Theresa C. (phone message)

"He has painted our house twice plus done interior work. Superb attention to detail, superb working relationship. Just good on every side. ... about non-toxic, we did interior work and used Yolo which is very high quality, he was very good with that. Also outside - using non-toxic exterior (Benjamin Moore Aura)

The thing is, painting is always a compromise - the higher quality the detail, the longer it takes, the more it costs. To make every detail perfect would be expensive, so where and how you ease back - what's good enough, what's not, what are specific things you want a certain way and what things can you turn them loose with general guidelines and let them decide - all this requires good communication. This is especially true where prep is concerned - scraping, etc.

Dave will help you figure that out, help you decide and make a choice that works for you. Other guys just do it the way they do it and you decide if that's what you want.

Also, Dave is the most trustworthy, reliable and honest contractor I've ever met. He typically rounds down in your favor not his, and once in a while if it isn't going well he stops because he'd rather work extra long the next day to make up for it than do bad work and have to do it over.

As far as considerate, he's amazing. He is extremely quiet and considerate when x is working from home, and coordinated primer (which has fumes) to make sure it didn’t' make us sick. He is the only contractor I would just give a key and trust, he's like one of the family."  -Paul C
